Fleet required for the transport of frozen products
Depending on the length of the route, the method of transport, the type of product and the atmospheric conditions, different tools are selected for the transport of frozen and refrigerated products. In our company, we most often choose:
- refrigerated containers. For international transport, we rely on refrigerated containers that are suitable for sea and land transport. These warehouses have built-in cooling systems and are suitable for long journeys. They can also be coupled with tractor unit equipment, which provides energy to cool the interior;
- refrigerated truck. This is the basic type of vehicle that is commonly used for refrigerated transport in Poland and around the world. A refrigerated truck is equipped with a refrigeration system or freezer that maintains a low temperature inside the cargo area. Different sizes and capacities of refrigerated trucks are available depending on the quantity and type of products;
- refrigerated trailer. By its size, it resembles the refrigerated containers used for sea and land transport. Semi-trailers are equipped with refrigeration systems and are suitable for long-haul freight;
- service vehicles. In addition to transport vehicles, a support fleet of e.g. service vehicles and repair teams may be needed to keep refrigerated warehouses and refrigeration systems running smoothly in case of breakdowns.
