Almost every type of fruit should be transported at a low temperature to inhibit the growth of microorganisms that cause spoilage. Transporting fruit in a refrigerator truck primarily involves matching the appropriate loading space to the type of fruit and the type of route. Fruit is transported differently on local routes and by sea.
Our vast experience and excellent logistics facilities enable us to provide our customers with ultra-fresh fruit transported under refrigerated conditions. The most common temperature range for this is 0–4°C or 6–8°C. The lowest values are reserved for the transport of perishable fruit, which deteriorates quickly.
In addition to the right temperature, fruit requires optimum air circulation. Without it, they could quickly start to spoil, which would adversely affect their quality and cause losses for the carrier and even more for the distributor. For this reason, the transport of soft and fresh fruit under controlled conditions must comply with the highest hygiene rules and legal regulations.
