Organisation of customs clearance

Crossing national borders is a very important element of international freight forwarding. Therefore, customs clearance is one of the most important processes at Greenyard Logistics Poland in which we support our customers. We understand how important a smooth border crossing is for the international shipment of goods, especially when it comes to foodstuffs. Therefore, we support our customers in:

• advising on customs and tax;
• preparing and filing the necessary documents (filing of customs declarations, preparation of waybills, issuing of invoices, etc.);
• dealing with customs and tax authorities;
• understanding international regulations;
• optimising the clearance process to reduce costs;
• monitoring the progress of customs clearance and processing of documentation.

In addition to standard procedures, the customs service at Greenyard Logistics Poland supports its customers in:

• sanitary and veterinary clearance, WIJHARS, WIORIN;
• carrying out simplified procedures;
• applying for a customs exemption;
• transit carriage;
• re-exportation;
• temporary transport.

We have a customs warehouse at our logistics centre in Gdańsk. In the event of a dispute or banned goods reaching the country, we provide a disposal process.
